"Laser Systems" awarded the honorary badge "For Quality"

The honorary badge "For Quality" is awarded annually on a competitive basis to organizations registered and operating in Saint Petersburg for achieving high-quality products and services and implementing highly effective management methods.

Saint Petersburg's "Laser Systems" won in the category "Best Industrial Enterprise with 101 to 250 Employees." This victory was made possible by the recognition of the quality of the 3D equipment produced at the enterprise.

Since 2017, "Laser Systems" has been serially producing high-tech industrial 3D printers for printing metal parts using SLM technology. Selective Laser Melting (SLM) is a type of additive manufacturing for metal parts with complex geometries that cannot be produced using traditional methods. The company was the first among domestic additive equipment manufacturers to confirm its Russian origin by receiving certification from the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The entire technological cycle of assembly and production of finished 3D printers is carried out at Laser Systems’ own production facility, meaning the equipment is entirely of Russian assembly.

Alexey Boreisho, Chairman of the Board of Directors, emphasized that quality is currently the most relevant issue for "Laser Systems," and winning the competition was made possible by the company's implementation of modern quality management systems. "Today, domestic 3D equipment matches foreign counterparts in quality and offers a crucial advantage – support for operators at all stages of the equipment lifecycle: installation, commissioning, staff training, optimization of production parameters, and service maintenance. We provide all this to our clients, unlike companies that left the domestic market, leaving customers to deal with complex imported equipment alone," the executive noted.

According to representatives of JSC "Laser Systems," a key factor that will ensure steady demand for additive manufacturing in Russia in the coming years is that domestic manufacturing companies now have a genuine need for a wide range of parts, components, and assemblies that were previously imported but are now absent from the Russian market. Additive technologies can completely solve the problem of scarce parts by using reverse engineering, where an exact copy of an existing part is created, enabling the printing of metal parts that have disappeared from the Russian market, effectively addressing import substitution.

We remind that in April 2024, "Laser Systems" opened the Additive Technologies Center (ATC) at its own production facility, providing contract 3D printing services for companies needing batches of specific metal parts.
