SKYDEX
SKYDEX — compact meteorological instrument for measuring the height of lower cloud boundary and vertical visibility in the range from 0 to 7.5 km.
The ceilometer is based on a laser pulse lidar. The instrument can detect up to three cloud layers. Reflection from clouds, precipitation or other objects is analyzed and used to determine the height of lower cloud boundary.
