MLC

Mobile lidar complex for environmental atmosphere monitoring
MLC
The complex is designed for operational remote determination of physical and chemical composition of the atmosphere.
The complex allows solving the following tasks:
  • Determine location and track evolution of natural and artificial aerosol formations in the atmosphere;
  • Investigate physical structure of aerosol (liquid droplets, solid crystalline particles, etc.) and evaluate integral particle size;
  • Remotely measure concentration of gases in the atmosphere, whose absorption lines coincide with the laser emission range;
  • Remotely determine wind speed and direction at various altitudes;
  • Compile forecast of dangerous situations.

Application Areas:

01
Technogenic disasters: fires, gas leaks, atmosphere pollution
02
Megapolis ecology: NOx, SOx, NH3, chlorofluorocarbons, hydrocarbons, aerosols
03
Global ecology: ozone in upper atmosphere layers, aerosols, CO²
04
Military conflicts: chemical attacks
05
Aviation safety: wind direction and speed, turbulence
06
Meteorology: wind direction and speed, turbulence, cloud structure, humidity
